Teen Club

Teen Club meets every other Friday at 4:30pm at 441 Parsells Ave.

The goals of Teen Club at 441 and NCFB are that neighborhood teens (ages 10-18) would:

  • Develop positive, diverse relationships with their peers and Christian adults

  • Have a safe space to be able to explore the deep questions of their life and faith

  • Be exposed to solid, Biblical teaching at an appropriate depth and begin to apply it to their daily life

  • Participate in community together - playing, eating, learning skills, and working as a team

Teen Mentoring

The goals of Teen Mentoring at 441 and NCFB are that neighborhood teens (ages 10-18) would:

  • Be matched one-on-one with a Christian adult who will meet with them at least twice a month on a schedule that works for both the mentor and the teen

  • Participate in various activities together that include: spiritual, educational, and fun/relational components

  • Have a caring adult to walk with them through the ups and downs of teenage life

  • Grow together in relationship and in discipleship

Student Employee Mentoring at New City Cafe

New City Fellowship Beechwood in partnership with New City Cafe at 441 Ministries is piloting a structured mentoring program for the cafe’s student employees.

  • Student employees at New City Cafe will be required to attend weekly mentoring sessions (and will be paid for the hour).

  • Mentors will work with student employees in four categories of holistic development: educational, financial, vocational, and wellness (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual). Sessions include goal setting and accountability in each of these areas as well as informal counseling and guidance with personal financial management.
